Hurry Up

Just ahwhile ago my soul was confused, amused, at what it did not know. Days went by.

- [City on Down]

I would apologize for the lack of posts, but this just happens to be my blog.

The sun is setting now, on a sunday afternoon. They call this sunday Easter. Easter is a funny name. It sounds like directions to a gas station in mississippi. 'If yer just go'on down that road and head easter at ther crossroads...'

My skin is kinda sticky from laying out in the sun. It reminds me of summer though, so I haven't bothered to shower yet. I may turn the lights on later and go swimming tonight. Sure, there's homework and some little chores, but it is sunday.

Momma just told me I need to clean my car out.
Can I finish my blog?
Yes, If you hurry.

I guess I will hurry.

We just finished a paper in English. I like to write papers.. something about making my ideas flow on paper and expressing different ideas. The sophisticated sentence structure and vocab gets old after awhile, though. what was it on?.... a separate peace -I had to think for a moment. it's a book by john knowles. He gets into some really deep stuff, concerning evil and self-discovery. He explores the avenues of innocence, friendship, betrayal, acceptance, grief...

My dad just left for the chairs out by the pool with two wine glasses, each half full of peace & relaxation. That means I don't have to hurry anymore.

It has been a long time since we had some rain. The weatherman told me it will be a long time yet before we get some. Speaking of rain, we took the cover off our pool two days ago, and now our backyard is all kinds of green trees and sunlight and a big blue spot in the middle. We have to watch out for the frogs though. we'd hate for them to drown. as nerdy as that sounds.

My guitar broke again. They sent it off to Newfoundland to fix it. I wish they would hurry.

I'll update again soon.
